Membership Levels
Regular Member ($150 fee)
- Eligibility: Healthcare professionals licensed to practice in their state or province who have completed ASCH-approved Level I Training and have experience in clinical or experimental hypnosis. Evidence of training must be submitted at the time of application.
Associate Member ($75 fee)
- Eligibility: Healthcare professionals with a bachelor's degree in nursing or an allied health profession, using hypnosis under the supervision of a licensed professional who meets NESCH membership criteria. Associate membership is also available to other credentialed professionals approved by the NESCH Board. Evidence of training and licensure is required at the time of application.
Student Member ($75 fee)
- Eligibility: Students who have completed at least one graduate semester in a doctoral or advanced degree program that allows for independent practice. Students must qualify for NESCH membership upon completing their program. A letter from a faculty supervisor is required to verify student status.
Retiree Member ($75 fee)
- Eligibility: Retired members who have been NESCH members for 5+ years and have retired from practice.

New Member Application
To apply for NESCH membership, you can download the membership application form here and either mail your completed application materials to the address on the form or email them to neschmsc@gmail.com. Adobe Reader is required to access the form.
Required Documents
Along with your application, you will need to submit the following:
- A copy of your license or proof of student status (if applicable).
- Proof of completion of a 20-hour introductory hypnosis course.
- Two sponsoring signatures (or email endorsements from your sponsors). Email endorsements can be sent to neschmsc@gmail.com.
Paper Application Fees
Application fees are payable by check made out to NESCH or can be processed online.
