TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL: Mastering Essential Skills in Hypnosis for Habit Change and Pain Management

This daylong workshop will be an opportunity for participants to work intensively in a small group setting with senior NESCH faculty to enhance their knowledge and expertise in the use of hypnosis for habit change and pain management.

Topics to be covered will include:

  • Learning and practicing a variety of induction, deepening and trance ratification methods.

  • In-depth training in techniques for habit analysis and hypnotic strategies to expedite change

  • Treating chronic pain: Effective suggestions for pain management and essential strategies for patient education to improve outcomes

  • Managing adjunctive hypnotherapy

  • Case consultation

The format will be small group practice sessions with time set aside for discussion and consultation.

- Half day training- Improvisation for Inductions: Becoming comfortable with the induction process, creating new and naturalistic inductions through the structure of improvisation and play. Date TBD.
