October 16-17, 2021 & November 13-14, 2021 (4 day workshop)
Open to physicians, doctoral or master’s level licensed healthcare professionals, and dentists.
This two-weekend virtual workshop is comprised of a mix of didactic presentations, demonstrations, experiential exercises, and faculty-led small group practice tailored to the specific needs, interests, and learning styles of workshop participants.
Clinical hypnosis deepens the work of mind-body practices such as mindfulness meditation. Adding hypnosis allows our clients/patients to become even more deeply aware of their inner states and fosters awareness of their own strengths, resources and problem-solving abilities. There has been extensive research demonstrating its effectiveness in treating a number of mind-body conditions, and in expediting habit change, facilitating pain management and enhancing treatment of depression and anxiety. In this intensive workshop participants receive in-depth training in both the theory and practice of clinical hypnosis from some of New England's leading hypnosis practitioners. The workshop is composed of a mix of didactic presentations, demonstrations, experiential exercises, and faculty led small group practice tailored to the specific needs, interests, and learning styles of workshop participants.
This two-weekend course is co-sponsored by the New England Society of Clinical Hypnosis, North Shore Medical Center, and the R. Cassidy for 22 Continuing Education Credits. Accredited by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Student/Trainee: $300 (verification letter from supervisor must be provided to confirm student status)
