The Level II Workshop enables practitioners who have taken a basic hypnosis workshop to add to and refine their clinical skills in the use of hypnosis and its applications in medicine, psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, and dentistry.
Topics to be covered include:
- advanced inductions,
- working with children,
- treatment of pain,
- functional disorders, anxiety, and
- psychological trauma
- the use of metaphors and creativity in hypnosis.
- Includes 20 hours of lectures and small group practice sessions.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by NESCH and North Shore Medical Center. North Shore Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
This is also an ASCH approved hypnosis training. Credits earned may be used toward Hypnosis Certification.
