Thomas Martin Annual Advanced Workshop in Clinical Hypnosis

“Honing Your Hypnotic Voice: Delivering Strategic Interventions for Mind/ Body Healing”

Speaker: Carol Ginandes, PhD, ABPP

This immersive weekend workshop is for intermediate and advanced hypnosis practitioners seeking to reach the next level of proficiency in their clinical work. The program will help participants learn to speak  “fluent hypnosis” and to find their own hypnotic voice. In the context of the presenter’s strategic, phase –oriented model, they will also acquire both a conceptual framework and a practical toolkit with which to approach a wide variety of mind/ body conditions. The teaching methodology includes didactic material as well as myriad practicum and experiential exercises to encourage participants to "think on their hypnotic feet" , without scripts, as they practice intonation, pacing, and word choice, create pertinent metaphors, and seamlessly deliver direct and indirect suggestions for patient interactions.

The  workshop will unfold as a cumulative learning journey so attendance at the entire beginning session is required to continue for the remainder of the training. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing in order to engage in the broad variety of learning exercises and modalities included in the workshop experience.

Please note: The number of participants to be included in this program is limited. Please register early to ensure your place.
