An Introduction to Ego-State Therapy

Presenter: Susan Dowell, LICSW

Susan Dowell,LCSW  is Vice President of ASCH and has also served as a Masters Level Representative to the Executive Committee in 2010 and 2013.

For 25 years, she has taught Training Seminars in Clinical Hypnosis on a variety of topics  . She also  has taught workshops for the Erickson Foundation, the Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and the International  Society of Hypnosis.

Susan became fascinated with the power of Ego State work, and the value of utilizing their shifting relational perspective.  And she began experimenting with ways to create a three dimension model that would give patients more access to internal shifts of consciousness and  facilitate their ability to fluidly movie back and forth between states.   She began developing a Footprintings  model  in 2004, originally co teaching with Rick Miller, LCSW. She has also taught Footprintings Seminars in South Africa, Denmark and Germany as well as the US.
