Hypnotic Interventions for ADHD and Co-Morbid Conditions

Maureen Turner, is a Licensed Certified Mental Health Counselor, Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse, Licensed Certified Social Worker, an entrepreneur, administrator, clinician, educator, author and researcher. She founded C.O.P.E. in Boston (1972-92), the nation’s first Pregnancy/Parenting Mental Health Clinic, established a successful fundraising/public relations business, developed home care psychiatric services, and became Chief Operating Officer for two home care agencies with psychiatric specialties.
In 1995, Ms. Turner began studying hypnosis, and 2001, established a full-time clinical practice, Motivation Hypnosis, in the Boston area which she moved to Burlington, Vermont in 2007. She and Linda Thomson, PhD, APRN co-founded Hypnovations: Clinical Hypnosis Training & Education Programs, providing Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Workshops to over 375 clinicians in US and Canada.
In 2013, Turner began a Longitudinal Study of Clinical Hypnosis Applications to ADD, which has now been submitted for publication and serves as a resource for her presentations on Clinical Hypnosis Research and Treatment of Teen/Adult ADHD. She has been a contributing author to Our Bodies, Ourselves, First Edition
(1972), The Woman Patient (1986) and numerous Clinical Hypnosis Workshop
Training Manuals. Recent venues for workshops: Annual Conferences for ASCH, SCEH, Partners in Health International, Wellness Workshop Series and Brattleboro Retreat Series.
Maureen Turner is best known for novel and innovative Clinical Hypnosis techniques & applications to: ADHD, Age Regression, Weight Reduction and PTSD.
